After Salman Khan, Aamir Khan also set to make a film based on a musician's life

Bollywood seems to be obsessed with musicians recently.

After producing blockbuster hits like Rockstar and Aashiqui 2, filmmakers are continually tapping into the highs and lows of musicians' life.

While Salman Khan's next Jugalbandi is also based on a musician, media reports are now claiming that Aamir Khan has decided to join the race as well and is all set to make a film based on the life of a young girl who aspires to be singer.

"It is a beautiful story of an adolescent girl who aspires to be a singer," report sources.

Aamir Khan is also going to star in the film as a music composer and the film will be produced under the banner of his production company, Aamir Khan Productions.

Although the plot details so far seem very similar to the Aashiqui 2 story line, but being the perfectionist that he is, the hope is that 3 Idiots star will be able to bring a fun, interesting angle to the hackneyed plot.

Currently, Aamir is occupied with his film Dangal, but this project is expected to go on floors this year.
