What's next on Fawad Khan's agenda?

It's not easy to be Fawad Khan.

As he rides high on the success of Kapoor & Sons, Fawad has a while before he can take a well-deserved break.

He is currently completing a week-long shooting spell for Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, after which he is due to fly out to the US for his annual charity musical tour. During the tour, Fawad and his wife Sadaf attend a series of events that provide his North American fans the opportunity to interact with him - the proceeds raised from the events are donated to charitable organisations in Pakistan.

After the tour, Fawad will begin shooting the Alamgir biopic, Albela Rahi, he told Mirror.

In Albela Rahi, Fawad will play Alamgir, who was born in Bangladesh and then moved to Karachi with his father, Farmuzal Haq, who was a politician with the All India Muslim League. Alamgir went on to immigrate to the US.

"I've visited Dhaka and love the vibe. But the film will be shot in Karachi and other parts of Pakistan, where Bangladesh will be re-created. We are cheating the locations," he told Mirror.
