Sanam Saeed and Mohib Mirza-starrer Bachaana's first music video is out now

While Bachaana's trailer promised action and thrills, its first music video 'Yaari' reveals that the hero and heroine had the time for some sappy romance.

The song features Shafqat Amanat's soaring vocals as lyrical translation of the lead characters' growing attraction to each other. It has been composed by Bollywood music director, Prasad Sashte.

The video shows that their romance is fairly textbook, with Mohib Mirza as the chivalrous gentleman and Sanam Saeed as the occasionally blushing beauty. The hope is that the romance proves to be less cookie-cutter in the film.

"Pakistan's cinematic talent is slowly emerging," Shafqat said in a video message at Bachaana's music launch yesterday. "As a musician, it was important for me to consider how the music was sounding in Bachaana. I thought the music was great, so agreed to sing one song. 'Yaari' has a beautiful melody and Bachaana looks like a beautiful film, from the bits and pieces I've seen."

The film's soundtrack also includes the title track 'Bachaana', its mash-up with 'Yaari' and the SYMT song, 'Koi Labda'.
