Football lovers might be celebrating (or weeping) over the recent announcement of Ballon d'Or but sports fans from Pakistan have something else to smile about — a recent commercial featuring both Messidona and the Sultan of Swing, aka Lionel Messi and Wasim Akram.
The ad kicks off with Messi strolling through cobbled streets chomping on a bag of crisps only to be stopped by a roadside painter eyeing his snack. The painter distracts the footballer and eats all his chips.
Messi learns his lesson and waits for someone to try the trick on — guess who walks by casually, none other than our very own Wasim Akram in a floral shirt eating those same crisps.
Although Wasim's appearance is kind of blink-and-you'll-miss-it, we have to admit we were pretty glad that two great players of two popular games came together.
But did Wasim let Messi mess with him? Not so far!
