Did you know? Overload rocked the streets of Islamabad

All those who would be strolling down Kohsar Market in the capital were in for a loud yet pleasant surprise yesterday as Overload's frontman Farhad Humayun and dhol player Nasir Sain put up an unplugged live performance at the location. The band had earlier posted on Facebook that it would make an appearance in the commercial area.

In the video posted by the band, quite a few people can be seen gathered around Farhad and Sain as the former plays the drum and the latter whirls with the dhol around his neck.

Interestingly enough, after posting the video, some tried to associate the band members to figures like DJ Butt, to which the band responded that they were only trying to reduce the stress in people's lives: "At the risk of being arrested or shot, we are only trying to [liven] up a terrorstricken environment and people who don't even realise the underlying tension in their lives."

They also added that they're passionate about their music; thus, the band has been together for the past 13 years.

In the absence of concerts in the country, it's good to see the band trying to keep the spirit of live music alive. After all, there's nothing better than tapping to the beat of the good old dhol.
