Action thriller in the works: Here's the cast line-up

There's a new film in the works, people – and it's going to be an action thriller, directed by veteran director Iqbal Kashmiri!

TV actor Agha Ali has bagged the lead role in this so far untitled film, and will be joined by perennial bad boy Shamoon Abbasi and senior actors Sajid Hassan and Ghulam Mohiuddin. Mathira will add some oomph to the cast with her cameo appearance and item song.

However, the cast is still missing a heroine, who remains to be finalised.

"The producers are not interested in the regular TV actresses, so the first shooting spell [won't] have the heroine in it," shared Agha Ali with Images.

The film will deliver on the special effects front, according to Agha.

He said, "[Iqbal Kashmiri] is [using] the latest technology [in this film]. All the meetings that I've had with him have been an amazing experience. He is all about films and nothing else."

The film will be produced by Sohail Kashmiri.

Agha was very hopeful about his work in this new film: "I am neither doing a film produced by my best friend or family neither am I doing it for free. The director and the producer took me onboard because of my work and credibility. I will try my best and make sure that I come up to their expectations."
