A desi in GoT? Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh to play royal
Neil Nitin Mukesh, who many would remember from the Bollywood film New York, may soon be seen in the popular fantasy television drama series, Game of Thrones, reported The Hindustan Times.
The actor revealed that he got the offer via Hollywood action director George Powell who has also looked after stunts in the upcoming Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP), in which Mukesh plays the role of Salman's younger brother.
“Greg has directed two sword-fighting sequences in PRDP for which I had to train for over a month in order to get the stance and wrist movements right. He seemed pretty impressed with all the hard work I put in and made the offer when we were shooting for the climax scene a few months ago,” Neil had shared.
He also added that the series' representative will be arriving in Mumbai to have a discussion on the role he'll be given which will be of a royal as he also plays a similar role in PRDP.
It is expected that Mukesh might be seen in GoT's seventh season as the show kicked off filming for the sixth season in June.
The HBO show, based on the fantasy series by George R.R. Martin, is loved by fans all over the world and has bagged Emmy awards ever since it began in 2011.
