Movie alert: Will we be seeing Imran Abbas in Haissam Hussain's upcoming rom-com?

After taking television by storm with Mera Naam Yousuf Hai, Sadia Jabbar will now add a feature film to her growing list of work.

The producer has decided to join hands with director, Haissam Hussain for her upcoming flick. Hussain has an impressive history of work under his belt; he has directed hit television shows like Aun Zara, Durr-e-Shahwar, Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan and Dastaan to name a few.

Reportedly, Hussain hadn't taken on any project in the last two years because he couldn't find a worthy script.

The movie, which will be a romantic comedy, is currently in its intial stages; auditions and casting are underway. We wonder if any of the leading men that Hussain or Jabbar have worked with before will be involved, like Imran Abbas or Osman Khalid Butt.

The music for the project will be produced by Sahir Ali Bhagga, who also worked on Bin Roye's soundtrack.

The film is expected to hit the floors in January next year.
