Ali Azmat sings for Randeep Hooda starrer 'Main Aur Charles'

Slowly but surely, Pakistani actors are getting recognition across the border but the musicians from here are two steps ahead — many of them have made a big name for themselves in Bollywood and one such singer is Ali Azmat.

After contributing to the soundtracks of Jism 2 and Paap, Ali Azmat will now be heard singing 'Mein Tu Yahin Ho' in Randeep Hooda's upcoming flick, Main Aur Charles.

There's no denying that the Pakistani rockstar can sing his heart out. Here's a snippet:

Sounds intense, right?

Although Azmat has only sung one song from the original soundtrack of Main Aur Charles, you can bet this isn't the last we've heard of him!

Talking to Images, Azmat revealed: "I'm also doing two songs for Farooq Mengal's Hijrat; one duet titled 'Maula' with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and another is unchartered territory i.e an item song called 'Brand Chor'. Pakistani cinema has been revived and a new era in music is here to go along with it."

Main Aur Charles has been written and directed by Prawaal Raman and has been composed by Vipin Patwa, Aditya Trivedi, Bally Grunge and Sanjeev-Darshan. The movie is slated for release on 30 October.
