Band Toh Ab Bajay Ga: Anjum Shehzad to direct Fahad Mustafa's first film production

While we await the release of the much-hyped Mah-e-Meer – a film starring Fahad Mustafa in a role inspired by the life of poet Mir Taqi Mir – its director Anjum Shahzad has moved on to his next big film project.

Anjum has been roped in to direct the first film production of his Mah-e-Meer lead star Fahad Mustafa, a project currently titled Band Toh Ab Bajay Ga, Anjum told Images.

The film will boast a script written by Yasir Hussain, whose acting and script for Karachi Se Lahore was very well-received. Fahad is producing the film with his Big Bang Productions' partner Dr Ali Kazmi.

Band To Ab Bajay Ga is not the only film Anjum is working on.

He has also started the shoot of another film, a romance drama starring TV actors Feroz Khan and Sajal Aly.

Anjum said to Images, "I started shooting [this film] after Mah-e-Meer and am quite excited to work on another big project."

While Anjum's schedule is likely to be chockablock with shoots, he offers no confirmed release date for Mah-e-Meer.
