Trailer out: Ho Mann Jahaan will be the musical extravaganza of 2016

Ho Mann Jahaan was one of 2015's most highly awaited releases, starring a very hip-looking trio of Mahira Khan, Shehreyar Munawar Siddiqui and Adeel Hussain in the lead. But their fans were delayed the joy of watching the film, as the film's producers recently announced that the film will release on January 1, 2016.

Fans, however, can make do with the just released trailer, and we have to say, it's made the wait even harder to bear:

Between takes of water fights and mehendi dances, roadtrips and a frolic in the field, we come to a better understanding of the film's story, which centres on the lead trio's musical ambitions and love lives. We see our first glimpse of Sonia Jehan's character, which is hinted to be a possible love interest for Shehreyar's character.

Moreover, we get a better listen at the film's soundtrack, which ranges from Mai Dhai's 'Sarak Sarak' and Asrar's 'Shakar Wandaan Re' to the lilting vocals of Zeb Bangash and Tina Sani.

The trailer was launched at an event at Karachi's Cinepax Cinemas, where the lead cast were present to celebrate.

Mahira Khan opted for an all-black ensemble...

...while the boys - Shehreyar, Adeel and director Asim Raza, color-coordinated in various shades of blue!

Here's hoping that the days to 2016 fly by!
