Ho Mann Jahaan to be a New Year's release

The year 2016 will begin on a happy note, as Ho Mann Jahaan, one of the most-awaited films this year, will release on New Year's Day.

In the film, a trio of best friends – Manizae (Mahira Khan), Nadir (Adeel Hussain) and Arhaan (a handsomely moustached Shehreyar Munawar Siddiqui) – navigates through college life and the real world in pursuit of their passion to become musicians.

The film also features Sonya Jehan, along with Nimra Bucha, Arshad Mehmood, Bushra Ansari and Munawer Siddiqui (Shehreyar's father) in prominent roles.

Ho Mann Jahaan is intrinsically musical, with its nine song soundtrack boasting the best of Pakistani music, from Zeb Bangash, Jimmy Khan and Asrar to Tina Sani, Mai Dhai Band and Abu Muhammad and Fareed Ayaz, among others.

The film will mark the directorial debut of ad filmmaker Asim Raza, and will go head to head in the box office with Farooq Mengal's Hijrat, which will release on December 31, 2015.
