Leaked: Does Nawazuddin Siddiqui play a cop in Raees?

While we wait in anticipation for a first glimpse of Mahira Khan in Raees, thanks to a leaked photo, it seems Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the role of tough-guy cop.

The photo shows Nawaz shades on, sleeves rolled up and striding forth.

Nawaz who was last seen as a naïve journalist in Bajrangi Bhaijaan has played a similar role in Kahaani alongside Vidya Balan as an intelligence officer with a chip on his shoulder.

Although there were rumours of Mahira refusing to act out intimate scenes with Nawaz, the director Rahul Dholakia dispelled such speculation on his Twitter account last month.

The film, which will mark Mahira Khan’s entry into Bollywood, is set to release next Eid.
