Former Pakistani actress/model Veena Malik and her husband Asad Khan were blessed with a baby girl today.

Veena had her baby at the Virginia Hospital in Arlington, VA. The couple have named their daughter Amal Asad Khan.

Amal is Veena and Asad's second child after their son Abram, who turned a year old on September 22, 2015.

The couple celebrated the news with their fans on Twitter, each giving the other a shout-out on the happy occasion:

Congratulations to the couple, and we wish little Amal a long and happy life!

The pop star also stepped back from her role in a West End performance of Sunday in the Park with George in 2027.

The star initially said it was big of Sheikh to apologise publicly but changed his tune shortly after.

Attaullah Tarar says a solution for such behaviour could be a mentorship programme headed by senior artists.
