Actor Aagha Ali confirmed his and Hina Altaf’s divorce, ending two years of speculation. The actor revealed the news during a conversation with Ahmed Ali Butt on his podcast, a clip of which has since gone viral on social media.

In the now widely shared video, Butt referred to Ali as a “happily divorced man,” prompting a scoff and laughter from Ali, who replied, “You just knocked someone down from a height.” Ali acknowledged that the decision to part ways had been difficult, but expressed relief that no children were involved since that would have added a layer of complexity to the situation.

Speaking more about the divorce, Ali reflected on the challenges of growing up without parental support, having lost his father at the age of five. He explained that this personal experience influenced his perspective on marriage and relationships. “Any relationship that begins with mutual consent deserves effort and prayer,” he said, suggesting that sometimes, despite your best efforts, parting ways is the healthiest option.

Despite his and Altaf’s split, Ali emphasised that mutual respect remains crucial, pointing out that many couples struggle to maintain respect for one another after breaking up.

Ali and Altaf tied the knot in May 2020. However, by 2022, rumours of their separation began circulating, though Ali had previously denied these claims.

In August, television host Madihah Naqvi referenced their divorce on-air but later apologised, explaining that she had misspoken. The clip sparked discussions about the importance of respect and healthy boundaries after divorce, especially in the public eye.
