Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari reportedly split up
Reports are coming in that pop star Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari have separated after 14 months of marriage.
Several US media outlets are reporting the news, but representatives for the couple have not commented yet.
Spears married Asghari in June 2022 after meeting while Spears was shooting the music video for her song ‘Slumber Party’. Asghari is an Iranian-American model and fitness trainer. They announced their engagement in September 2021.
He had been very publicly supportive of her mental health struggles and during Spears’ conservatorship court case.
The two were recently spotted not wearing their wedding rings in public.
Spears has been married twice before — a very brief marriage in 2004 to her childhood friend Jason Alexander and from 2004 to 2007 to Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two teen sons, Sean and Jayden.
