Haris Rauf celebrates his wedding minus the Pakistan cricket team
Cricketer Haris Rauf and Muzna Masood Malik’s wedding festivities have begun but there are some very important and close people who won’t be there — the rest of his teammates!
Haris and Muzna tied the knot in December and their wedding festivities were scheduled for July. Well, it’s July and the party has started!
He had a beautiful wedding event in Lahore where his bride wore a red Mohsin Naveed Ranjha outfit, as spotted by the eagle-eyed Fashion Talk by Abeera. Haris also wore a black MNR outfit.
Unfortunately, the Pakistan cricket team was missing from the celebrations. The decision was an unfortunate result of some unforeseen circumstances, primarily driven by the ever-changing weather conditions.
As we know, our cricket stars have a jam-packed schedule, and their commitments often take them across the globe. Due to the current weather conditions and the potential disruptions caused by it, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made the call to keep the players away from the wedding celebrations. The team is all set to head to Colombo on Saturday with a short layover in Dubai.
They did, however, send him their best wishes via video.
Haris kicked off his celebrations with a qawwali night where he was surrounded by his family and loved ones, donning an intricately embroidered blue kameez.
