Pakistan’s cricket team won by 26 runs in the third ODI against New Zealand on Wednesday, marking their first win over New Zealand after 12 years. Naseem Shah’s been trending on Twitter the day after the match with everyone praising his incredible bowling and his friendship with Wasim Jr.

A Twitter user called Shah the “next big thing in Pakistan” because of his commendable bowling which left New Zealand struggling in the last over. He cleaned up Mark Chapman’s batting with an outswinger that knocked over off-stump.

People are celebrating the win, but what caught everyone’s attention was the bond between Shah and Waseem Jr, also known as WasNas on Twitter. When Shah knocked out Chapman, he went running towards Wasim to hug him and Twitter loved the bromance.

It was super dramatic, but hey, that’s what the people want!

In another over, Shah got Henry Shipley out courtesy a catch from Wasim.

Shah’s expression at his teammate catching the ball caught people’s attention. Fans found it both endearing and hilarious.

A fan also tweeted their excitement to see Shah and Wasim’s joint effort in the next World Cup.

Another user noticed their hug when the team won, calling them the “perfect besties”.

This cricket team is full of bromance and we love it! We want to see even more bestie behaviour please.
