If there is one thing netizens can unite over, it's that waiting for the last two episodes of Netflix's Stranger Things season 4 has been difficult.

The streaming giant dropped the trailer for the season finale, also called Season 4 Volume 2, on Tuesday which confirmed that the last two episodes are going to be packed with horror, adventure and suspense.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the total runtime of the episodes will be nearly four hours. The trailer is set to Kate Bush's 1985 hit 'Running Up That Hill' that rose to fame from the series. The trailer was kept under lock and key, according to the site, as it wasn't shared with media before it went up online.

Producer and director Shawn Levy previously told THR, "Having seen both those finale episodes, they are as emotional as they are cinematic.”

“Holy shit, they are definitely a treat for the eyes, but they punch you right in the heart. So, that’s what I’ll say about that."

The first volume was well-received as it currently holds a 89 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. According to Deadline, the fourth season of Stranger Things garnered 286.79 million hours of viewing time worldwide from May 25 to 27. That takes over the previous record-holder, season two of Bridgerton, which had 193 million hours of watch time over its opening weekend in March.

The first seven episodes of season 4 are available to stream on Netflix and Vol. 2 will arrive on July 1.
