'We are bulletproof': K-pop band BTS will be dropping a new album in June
There's no summer that goes by without BTS releasing hit after hit for us to croon to. Just like every year, the K-pop band is back with a set of bops and bangers for the season that will be a part of their new studio album, slated to release in two months.
On April 16, the boyband took to Twitter and shared the announcement about their new album release. The 'Butter' artists were closing their concert Permission to Dance On Stage in Las Vegas when the announcement was shared with their fans also called the BTS ARMY.
In the 50-seconds clip, the video revealed that the upcoming album will hit the market on June 10 this year. The video featured V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Suga, RM, and J-Hope who are seen saying "We are bulletproof" together.
The announcement had fans wondering whether the upcoming album would have something to do with the line "We are Bulletproof." A 'We Are Bulletproof Part 4' anyone? The group's label Big Hit Music issued a statement saying that more information will be shared in the near future. According to Entertainment Weekly, the statement read, "BTS will be back with another new album on June 10, 2022. Details on the new album will be provided in a separate notice at a later date. We look forward to your love and support for BTS' new album. Thank you."
The boyband hasn't released an album after their fifth studio album Be in 2020, though they've made it to top charts with singles 'Dynamite', 'Butter', 'Permission to Dance' and a collaboration with Coldplay 'My Universe'.
No matter what they release, we're sure it will be a hit.
