Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla passes away at the age of 40
Indian actor and television personality Sidharth Shukla — the winner of Bigg Boss season 13 — passed away on Thursday at the age of 40.
A doctor confirmed the news to Indian Express and said the actor had already passed away when he was brought to the hospital. The Hindustan Times reported that he suffered a heart attack.
Shukla had starred in Indian television serials such as CID and Balika Vadhu. He'd also made appearances in reality shows such as Bigg Boss 13, India’s Got Talent and Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Shukla had won both Bigg Boss 13 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 7
The actor was also seen in the Bollywood movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania alongside actors Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
Indian celebrities took to social media to express grief over the actor's demise.
"Shocked and sad to know about Sidharth Shukla. Gone too soon. Prayers. Rest in peace," actor and stand up comedian Sunil Grover posted on Twitter.
"Shocked beyond words! Gone too soon. Condolences to his family [and] loved ones. He was loved by millions,"actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted.
Pakistani actor Areeba Habib also took to Instagram to express her grief.
