Comedian Ali Gul Pir's latest video imitating Indian actor Kangana Ranaut and her concern for how the international media is reporting India's terrible Covid-19 situation has made everyone, including the Gangster actor herself, roll on the floor laughing.

Ranaut, who is no stranger to controversial statements, had taken to social media to share her opinion on the matter, addressing fans and followers and all those going to "foreign daddies to cry about India". "Your time is up," she stated.

"Greetings fellows. Apart from corona there are many other things that are very disturbing and I'd like to discuss with you today," she began in her video.

"Every time there is an issue, the rest of the countries get together and pretend like India and its people have just evolved from monkeys to humans, declaring that we will tell you what to do," she said.

"Time Magazine's pictures of dead bodies in India is best-selling. They behave like we are monkeys who have no idea what medical infrastructure is. On CNN, they say Modi... ruined idea," the Queen star added.

Using this rant as the perfect fodder for his video, Gul Pir imitated her in his typical fashion, making everyone, including Ranaut herself laugh.

"Apa Kangana reminds us of the dangers of news reporting by comparing it to a pandemic. If news stops, deaths will too!" he tweeted.

"At least you are funny and made me laugh," she responded, to which the rapper added, "Well we might disagree on many things but at least we can laugh together."

While both agree that he's funny this time, it hasn't always been the case. Previously, the comedian trolled Ranaut on Twitter after musician Rihanna showed support for the farmers protests in India — prompting the Tanu Weds Manu actor to criticise the Grammy-winner and call her a 'porn singer.'

“Porn singer? Is that a singer who makes music for porn films only. They will refuse to sing for normal films? Please explain further. I didn’t know such a niche existed, just curious," Pir had posted. Oblivious to the sarcasm in his tone, Ranaut had replied with an explanation of what she meant, giving him another opportunity to mock her "relying on controversy and putting people down to stay in the news."
