Anwar Maqsood tests positive for Covid-19

Pakistani scriptwriter, television host, satirist, humorist, infrequent actor and legend — Anwar Maqsood — has unfortunately tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

President of the Arts Council, Ahmed Shah announced the news on Facebook, informing fans that the playwright has not been feeling well and requested prayers for his good health.

His son, singer Bilal Maqsood, also confirmed the news to Images.

"He is Covid positive. Today he looked much better; hopefully, just a few more days, and he'll be out of it InshaAllah," he said.

Fans took to Twitter to wish the maestro good health and all their best.
