Yasir Hussain is all praise for wife Iqra Aziz's 'hat-trick' best actress win
Lux Style Awards announced its 2020 winners in Karachi last week and actress Iqra Aziz won the best actress accolade for her role in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi — her third win in two years!
Her husband, Yasir Hussain, took to Instagram to laud Iqra, not just for her acting skills but for being "the best wife".
“A hat-trick at any level is a tremendous accomplishment. Congratulations Begam Iqra Aziz, 2 saal mai 3 best actress Awards (Lux), aisi hat trick toh waseem bhai ki bhi nahi thi [Three awards in two years; even Wasim bhai doesn't have such a hat-trick]."
"You are not just the best actress but best wife and best friend. I’m proud of you. Love," signed off Hussain.
The loving message did not go unnoticed by Hussain's spouse, who commented under the post: "Baby thank you for always supporting me and being there for me. You’ve given me so much strength and love that all of this feels surreal. I love you to the moon and back.”
The TV actress — after successfully bagging both Viewer’s Choice and Critic’s Choice for Suno Chanda in 2019 — added to her collection yet another award by Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress Critic’s Choice 2020 for her memorable performance in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi.
Her husband’s support serves as a cherry on top, adding substance to the bare minimum that any healthy couple should strive to achieve: a supportive relationship.
