Rubina Ashraf was recently diagnosed with Covid-19 and had quarantined herself to stay safe and keep others safe as well.

However, news started spreading that the veteran star was in critical condition and has been shifted to the ICU. And as always once the news started spreading, a few hoaxes also started surfacing claiming Ashraf to be in worse condition than she is.

Daughter Minna Tariq immediately took to Instagram to clarify that her mother is recovering well.

"I request everyone to please avoid spreading misinformation about my mother, Rubina Ashraf," she said. "She is fine and recovering. Please pray for her speedy recovery."

Previously, Sakina Samo, who also contracted the coronavirus, had expressed her outrage when a blogger spread fake news of her death.
