Fifth Lahore Music Meet will kick off in February 2020

The fifth edition of the Lahore Music Meet (LMM) is scheduled for Feb 1-2, 2020 at Alhamra Art Center.

The two-day event features four stages of live performances, plus masterclasses and conversations with musicians on the sidelines of the festival and will be open to the general public.

Since 2015, Lahore Music Meet has been a platform featuring upcoming artists from Pakistan’s emerging, contemporary and traditional music landscape, and bridging the gap between music enterprise, education and academia.

LMM boasts an alumni list of more than two hundred artists from all genres of the Pakistani music and creative arts scene: this includes legends such as Attaullah Esakhelvi, Ustaad Naseerudin Saami and Fareed Ayaz and Abu Mohammad; regional acts including Mai Dhai, Akhtar Channal, Saeen Zahoor and Bushra Marvi; esteemed members of the industry such as Tina Sani, Sajjad Ali and Javed Bashir; pop/rock artists such as Ali Noor and Hamza, Jimmy Khan, Ali Sethi, Gumby, Ali Azmat, Haniya Aslam and Abid Brohi; independent popular musicians Abdullah Siddiqui, Poor Rich Boy and Red Blood Cat; electronic artists such as Rudoh, Alien Panda Jury and Slowspin amongst many others.

The festival also features a women-led team, including directors Natasha Noorani and Zahra Paracha with Sana Nasir as lead designer and Munizeh Sanai as creative director.
