Heer Maan Ja's title track just didn't win us over
Heer Maan Ja seems like a fun movie to wait for but their latest song wasn't up to the mark for us.
The titular track for the film is out and unfortunately, it fizzled out before it even started.
The video features Hareem Farooq, Ali Rehman Khan and Faizan Shaikh in a club like the backdrop of many songs before it, minus a beat that would get us dancing along. The song lacked the energy a titular track would need, and no amount of glitter can make up for it... of which there was a lot.
We're happy to see Faizan Shaikh becoming a more prominent actor. Shaikh caught our attention in Parchi, which also featured the same duo and now to see him in the the main song for the upcoming movie has us wondering about the performance he has in store for us.
Heer Maan Ja releases Eid ul Azha.
