All hail bootcut jeans because the skinny jean is officially dead
We have some news.
The skinny jean is dead. The unforgiving, blood-constricting style of denim no longer reigns supreme; it's time to donate all 30 of your skinny jeans and start over. Okay, fine, you can keep two just in case the trend comes back, because they always do.
But right now, mom jeans, boyfriend denim and bootcut is where it's at and we'll be discussing our love for the flare today.
Skinny jeans may be more edgy but bootcut jeans are comfortable and on-trend. Here's proof that even our celebs have made the shift:
A fool proof way to pull off the voluminous cut: pairing it with a white tee.
Told y'all it was effortless.

Coupling it with a chunky belt also adds some extra oomph and highlights that waist.
Amna Ilyas wore it with a simple crop top and tote.

You can stick to good ol' light blue jeans.
A classic. Possibly the most stylish fashion models in the business, Sadaf Kanwal and Amna Babar went that route.

But it doesn't even have to be denim
You can keep it plain with an eye-catching detail, like Ayesha Omar in those black pants with a slit. Or play around with printed wide-legged trousers, like Mahira Khan at Cannes earlier this year.

Go have fun with colour
Hareem Farooq painted the town red in these funky pants whereas Kiran Malik kept it all yellow.
