Affan Waheed and Yumna Zaidi are pairing up for an Eid telefilm
We just heard some exciting news about an upcoming telefilm — looks like Affan Waheed and Yumna Zaidi are pairing up for one this Eid.
Talking to Images about his role, the actor revealed: "My character's a happy-go-lucky guy who's a little arrogant and full of himself, raised by a single mother. Yumna on the other hand is raised by a single father." Their parents are bent on playing matchmaker and want them to get married.
"So we end up collaborating on how to get the marriage emergency out of our way by hoodwinking our parents into believing that we like each other and eventually wriggling out of it. But there's a catch in the end of the film which the audience has to watch to find out for themselves."
The yet to be titled telefilm has been written by Adeel Raza, produced by Ahmed Baig and directed by Mohsin Talat. The cast also includes Saman Ansari and Nauman Masood. It's a light-hearted comedy and Affan signed up for it because he really liked the script so we're looking forward to this one!
