Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and her fiance Joe Jonas have got married in a apparently impromptu wedding ceremony, just two hours after his band performed at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

The longtime couple headed to a wedding chapel after the award ceremony where an Elvis impersonator appeared to have officiated their wedding.

The wedding would have been a total hush-hush affair had American DJ Diplo not posted footage from the event. On his Instagram Stories, fans saw Turner walking down the aisle in a white dress and veil and country music duo Dan + Shay performing their hit song 'Speechless'.

EOnline reports that the couple exchanged ring-shaped candy instead of actual wedding bands.

Perhaps they're saving the fancier stuff for a more extravagant affair in the summer? It's rumoured that the couple will be hosting a bigger party in France later this year.
