7 goodies you can try now that IHOP is coming to Pakistan
Popular American pancake house chain IHOP has announced plans to open as many as 19 outlets in Pakistan in the coming years but you know, there's more to the pancake house than just pancakes, not to say those aren't also pretty great.
The first outlet slated to open by the end of the year, in Karachi; while it remains to be seen what value this brings to our food scene, here's 7 items from their menu that we're looking forward to tasting and also, some old favourites:
Tres Leches Pancakes
The infamous Mexican three milk cake has become a staple on offer in lots of bakeries in major cities so we're guessing this one will be a win here.
Strawberries & Cream Crepes
You can't go wrong with strawberries and cream and IHOP crepes are pretty light and buttery.
Egg White Vegetable Omelette
We like the sound of a guilt-free breakfast that's low on calories.
Big Brunch
You wouldn't expect them to have the best burgers but take it from us, the Big Brunch at IHOP is a pretty mean breakfast burger.
Cupcake Pancakes
Sometimes, you got to treat yourself.
Thick-Cut Brioche French Toast
With the exception of Neco's, not a lot of restaurants have hit the nail on the head with French toast.
Let's see how the brioche French toast at IHOP fares.
Chicken and Waffles
Everyone does sweet waffles but savoury is harder to pull off. IHOP has this on the menu so we're definitely intrigued.
Signature Pancake Sliders
Turkey bacon and sausage, with a scrambled egg omelette topped with a sweet maple glaze — you've got our attention.
