The ongoing hit Ranjha Ranjha Kardi features Imran Ashraf as its breakout star and he's already signed up his next project.

The actor will next be seen in Inkar opposite Yumna Zaidi and Sami Khan.

The story follows college student Shayan whose fiance Ramal has a troubled past. The story will take a twist when their friend Wajid tries to kill her. Ramal survives but is critically wounded. It's her journey to get justice against her perpetrator while surviving the taunts of society that will form the crux of this drama. All the while, Shayan is pressured to leave his fiance — will he feature as a positive character who backs up his fiance or fall to the low standards set by society?

We're guessing this is another drama after Cheekh and many others that looks at the ways the legal system makes getting justice a struggle for survivors of sexual assault.

Inkar airs every Monday at 8pm.

Its time that it becomes part of debate as well and needs fixing.
