Total Dhamaal director Indra Kumar already kind of has his next film planned out.

Kumar wants to make a sequel to Dil, the 1990 Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer that earned the later a Filmfare award for her performance.

According to Filmfare, the filmmaker is still looking for actors to play the lead; he was quoted saying, “I had been planning to make the sequel to Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer Dil for some time now. We have cracked a script and called it Dil Again.”

Yeah, we're also hoping he reconsiders that name.

Dil also featured Anupam Kher and Saeed Jaffrey in prominent roles.

Meanwhile, Kumar’s Total Dhamaal is slated for February 22 release. The comedy-drama stars Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles.

90s films were the worst. Probably Amir's worst and most embarrassing phase. Dil was a particularly bad example of Bollywood kitsch, but of course, a huge hit. Like Nadeem Shravan's music - horrible mediocre drivel but money spinners anyway. I hope this franchise never sees the light of day. Thankfully what we call Bollywood today is churning out a steady stream of talented filmmakers who dare to tread off the beaten path and create underrated masterpieces.
