PTV's cop show Andhera Ujala is getting a sequel
PTV's beloved cop show from the 80s, Andhera Ujala is getting a reboot with an all new characters (and some recurring original cast members too!).
While talking to Images, Ayaz Samoo who will be part of the new show shared, "It's not a remake, it's a sequel. We've got some new cast members and people like Irfan Khoosat will be reprising their characters. Danish Taimoor plays SSP Jasim, I'm new to the force, part of ASI and I'm this really loyal, Pathan character called Dildaar Khan and our SHO is Nadir, played by Rashid Farooqi. The cast also includes Khwaja Saleem and Irfan Motiwala. Just like the old show, this will also tackle a new case in every episode."
The serial will be directed by Aamir Yousuf; it will obviously air on PTV and also one other channel, which will be disclosed soon. No release date has been announced yet but we're looking forward to this one!
