DeepVeer's wedding dates, location, designers and other details were eventually out in the open when the time came for the couple to get hitched but here's a secret nobody knew:

She and Ranveer got engaged four years ago!

Yep, all the time they left fans wondering whether they were a thing or not, DeepVeer had already secretly swapped rings and decided they will marry... eventually.

Speaking to Filmfare, the Padmavaat star revealed that she knew Ranveer was the one after just six months of dating him, though they did have their ups and downs.

“When I look back, six months into it I was pretty much emotionally invested in us. After that it was when do we get married?" said the actor. "I was never unsure about him. Of course, in a six-year-long relationship, you go through your ups and downs but we never broke up. There was no major fight or saying let’s take time off and figure this out. We’ve fought; we’ve had our ups and downs. But we stuck through all of that."

And then she dropped the bomb: "We got engaged four years ago... No one knows this. We got engaged four years ago. Only his parents and my parents and our respective sisters knew about it.”

Good on their fam for not spilling the beans!
