A day ago on Monday, Zoheb Hassan accused Ishtiaq Baig of making a film on the life of late-wife Nazia Hassan.
Hassan took to social media to announce that the family will sue anyone who is part of the project, claiming this was Baig's plan to profit off his sister's name.
However, Baig claims to have no such project pending. In a letter to Images, Baig denies the accusations, saying: "I am too busy at the moment in my business & other engagements."
He adds: "However if ever plan making one, I would announce it myself proudly and being her husband nobody can stop me from doing so."
Baig also had a word to say about the end of his marriage with Nazia Hassan.
Says Baig: "Nazia Hassan was my wife until her sad demise in London. Her death certificate confirms our marital status."
However, Zoheb Hassan has disputed Baig's above claim in a tweet bearing Nazia's divorce certificate, a full copy of which is available with Images:
According to the certificate, their 1995 marriage came to an end in April 2000. Nazia passed away in August that year.
Images has reached out to Zoheb Hassan for further comment.
