Aamir Khan hasn't received an invite to Imran Khan's oathing-taking ceremony
Rumours were rife that Dangal star Aamir Khan was going to be invited to Imran Khan's oath taking ceremony... turns out it's not happening.
When asked whether he received an invitation to the event, Aamir told CNN-News18, "No, I am not going to Pakistan and I haven't got an invitation for Imran Khan's swearing-in ceremony."

Confirming the news is PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry who said that "there will be no show of extravagance at the event."
"The PTI chairman has directed to stage the oath-taking event with austerity. He will take his oath in a simple ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr (President House)."

"It has been decided that no foreign personalities will be invited to the ceremony — it will be a completely national event. Only a few close friends of Imran Khan will be invited."
While IK had initially planned to call Indian celebrities like Aamir Khan, Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavasker for the ceremony, he's now decided against it.
