The verdict is in! Fi-na-lly! The Sharif family has been found guilty in the Avenfield corruption reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been given 10 years jail time, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, 7 years and his son-in-law Captain Safdar has been given 1 year jail time.

Getting a Tax Haven is not corruption. It’s a legal method of saving money . Tax Havens are used by every one in the US including the upper middle class. This is a blow to democracy. NS was great administrator and effective in meeting political aspirations of the masses. The tragedy is civilians get punished while generals are sitting in Dubai and London enjoying ill gotten wealth.
