Mohsin Hamid's Exit West nominated for LA Times Book Prize

The Pakistani novelist was also nominated for The Man Booker Prize last year

Pakistani novelist Mohsin Hamid has bagged yet another accolade.

The author's fourth novel Exit West has been nominated for the LA Times Book Prize in the 'Fiction' category, the list was released by the LA Times.

The novel is up against Victor LaValle's The Changeling, Claire Messud's The Burning Girl, Vivek Shanbhag's Ghachar Ghochar and Jesmyn Ward's Sing, Unburied, Sing.

Exit West, a story about a refugee couple's attempted journey to safety, was shortlisted for The Man Booker Prize last year.

The finalists will be announced on April 20.
