Seems like Aamir Khan and Priyanka Chopra won't be appearing onscreen together after all, at least not in Mahesh Mithai's upcoming flick.

According to DNA India, the actor has backed out of the biopic on Rakesh Sharma due to "some points of disagreement between him and the creative team" revealed any insider.

Aamir was to start shooting for the project right after Thugs of Hindostan. In fact, the producers had even picked Independence Day, 2018, as its release date. However, with this development, things will likely change.

According to a few other reports, Khan was not blown away with the script. “They were developing the script but Aamir did not like the way it finally shaped up,” an industry insider told Pinkvilla, adding “Everybody knows that his script sense is brilliant so in that form, if he does not like a script there has to be something wrong with it.”

Rakesh Sharma is a former Indian Air Force pilot who flew aboard Soyuz T-11, launched 2 April 1984, as part of the Intercosmos programme. Sharma became the first Indian to travel in space.
