Avengers: Infinity War is the most viewed trailer of all time
Can't say we're really surprised. Then again, that doesn't make it any less impressive.
The much-hyped trailer for Avenger: Infinity War was released a few days ago and managed to set a new record, racking up 230 million views in just 24 hours! That's enough people to earn it the title of most-viewed trailer of all time!
The upcoming Marvel flick's trailer beat Andy Muschietti‘s IT, which earned 197 million views when the first trailer dropped earlier this year. Before that, the title belonged to Fate of the Furious, which earned a single-day tally of 139 million views last year.
What with the trailer letting us know what to expect, we don't blame the numbers! With Thanos finally making his entrance, that too a really intense one, Infinity Wars is definitely planning to live up to its name. We get a glimpse of Nomad as Captain America returns, the Wakanda army (of which we'll see a lot in the upcoming Black Panther) rise for the war and also, Peter Parker's Spidey senses are atingling!
Infinity Wars brings together the whole MCU, that spans out to almost a decade (Yes, we do feel old) and from the brutal attack we see on Vision, we're afraid not everyone will make it out of the war alive. No spoilers people!
The star-studded cast includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Rudd, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin to name a few!
Scripted by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (Captain America: Civil War) and directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, the film opens May 4, 2018.
