Syed Noor has confirmed that he has cast Shabnam alongside Nadeem Baig in his upcoming film, Aina 2

The filmmaker revealed that plans for his film are set in motion with the two veteran actors on board.

"Shabnam Sahiba is back and we welcome her. I met her a few times, when I was on shoots in Karachi," said the director. "We also met at Nadeem Sab's home. We all ended up discussing Aina 2 there. We got an old producer friend on board. We felt that this must happen and I want to make it with Shabnam Sahiba and Nadeem Sab."

Syed Noor wants to take this film with a different angle. According to him, "The film shows a later stage in life and we're hoping to incorporate some flashbacks and introduce new actors."

The filmmaker hopes to make a positive impact from this movie on the film industry. Says Noor, "We want to bring back dignified films to the Pakistan film industry so that our new generations can learn from it all. Maybe we'll be able to bring new and improved entertainment to Pakistan."

No dates have been announced for Aina 2 as of yet.

100% agreed ...we need to remove item songs and incorporate our culture in our films , make them realistic.

Yes this is good step.. but the film must be closed position with the all staff and member. I hope it will reveal a great satisfaction but i want it possible to watch everyone not that some reasons could not watch it.. so the film ought to be in old story put up and reality and Future dare for the people. Thanks. #fahad.

Syed Noor is a spent force. He is stuck in time warp and cannot come out of it. He is living in past glory.

It is time for people like him to leave the industry and let fresh blood do the job. Very people like him who destroyed the industry are talking of reviving it. Just back off.

@Awais He isn't occupying anyone's space. This is not a sports team where there are a limited number of players. There can be as many film makers at a given time.

@Muhammad Faheem Movies are just for entertainment without masala it is not entertainment anymore. People can watch documentaries if you don't like movies with masala.

If we believe Mr. Noor then we have to ask a simple question that a person or his vision cannot get to be dignified just by saying or acquiring in a day. A person's vision and demeanors are built during his/her early years. Sorry, cannot buy his words. Good for Pakistan film industry if he leaves now.

Syed Noor Sahib, please take this positive vision to reality and produce films which focus on amazing trailblazers who helped develop Pakistan. So many admirable men and women who played a significant role in Pakistan's socio-economic and cultural development. Some incredibly dedicated, selfless patriots such as Fatima Jinnah, Lady Haroon, Begum Shaista Ikramullah and many more deserve to be honored with movies based upon their amazing achievements. Same with countless honorable men who dedicated their life's work to Pakistan without ever engaging in corruption or personal monetary gain - unlike today's "leaders" who are mired in corrupt deals at the expense of our nation and its people.

He was one of the worst directors Pakistan has ever produced. I do not know why people make him sit in the front line. I am ready to take you at any forum if you have doubts about yourself.

It is so sad that Syed Noor is Pakistan's so called numero uno director. From all his appearances on TV shows one thing becomes very clear that he is a good story teller. He always narrates what he sees in his dreams and which is very far from reality. If he stays around dishing advices to pakistani film industry in future then that will be end of the road for pakistani film industy.

How about the following idea. A health care system (public, versus private) disparity, show cased from the eyes of a late teenager (at the prime age of can-do attitude, but without worldly touch of reality), who is struggling to find means for a loved one needing healthcare, facing various problems, corruptions, social issues, meeting con people, and at the same time some faint lights of hope, Regards.
