I feel someone’s done it for revenge: Faryal breaks silence over Amir's sexually explicit tape

The video shows Amir Skyping with a US model whom he was romantically linked with in 2010
Updated 24 Jan, 2017

The Khans have decided to break their silence regarding the latest controversy about the couple.

A week ago, a sex tape of boxer Amir Khan was leaked online, in which he was seen Skyping with a former girlfriend and US model whom he romantically linked with in 2010 — prior to his marriage to Faryal Makhdoom.

According to The Daily Mail, Amir and his wife, Faryal Makhdoom believe that someone close to the couple leaked the tape.

In a rare appearance on TV together, Faryal said: "I feel like someone’s done it out of revenge. It's not necessarily a family member. Amir has fired a lot of people who worked from the company so it could be a worker."

The British boxing star, 30, admitted that the sex tape had 'upset' him and also believes that he was betrayed by someone close to him who wanted to inflict maximum pain on him and his wife. They also insisted that the video was made before they got together when Amir was in another relationship.

Amir shared, "Something happened a long long time ago when I was younger and it was well before my marriage and my little girl'. It does upset me cause a lot of youngsters look up to me and they see me as a role model and for the video to come out, it’s sad. It’s a shadow on my charity work."

Faryal added: “All those divorce rumours and what is being said in the media is not true. [We] just want to show that our marriage is fine and we are doing quite well."

There just seems to be no break in sight for the Khans. Late last year, the Khan family was dealing with a family feud which turned ugly after Faryal posted Snapchats of the alleged mistreatment she received at the hands of her in-laws.

Why do we care so much about Amir Khan. He is British. Not Pakistani. And really not that interesting.

I think they are both sick to keep ignoring what ails them, and for washing their dirty laundry in public!

@Ruby - We care because he has opened boxing centres in Pakistan. Also gives in charity and has parents that have Pakistan backgrounds. So what is "interesting"? Its news.

Get some professional help! Both of you. This is not normal. Sweeping your respective errors under the rug is not going to make them disappear. Only counseling and therapy will.

AK please ignore everything. Keep private things private. Be in news only for boxing and charity. Waiting for you to knock out your next opponent and vent all your frustration on him!

@khabboo So what??? They are no more Pakistani as they live in UK and USA, Making Dollars and Pounds. If they are So much Pakistani then they should have live in Pakistan, when AK fights he represent UK not Pakistan and when he wins it's for UK not for Pakistan. AK 's first girl friend was a US model and his wife was also a USA based Model. He didn't get even try to find a girl in Pakistan. So get real, THEY ARE NOT PAKISTANI.

If that is something for which he has to be punished then most of us must have made similar or even worse mistakes in life though luckily they were not documented by people. But trust me, they have been documented. So ignore whosoever did whatsoever in their personal lives. He is a good guy just having a bad patch.

Leave the Khans alone. What he did was silly but his own business. So much jealousy and negative people out there wanting to defame others just because they are happy, wealthy and successful

All the fame and fortune has only brought you glitz and glamour, not happiness and contentment. Being in the news for all the wrong reasons, may boost your ego or image, but that only inflates it further and makes you do stupid and irrational things. Be ever so humble. and be true to yourself. Doubt whom you will, but never yourself.
