Not a cameo: Fawad Khan's Ae Dil Mushkil role is "20 days of work"
Fawad Khan's appearance in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil won't be of the blink-and-miss variety.
The actor revealed this in an interview with IANS, where he described his role as pivotal for the film.
""It's not exactly a cameo but it becomes a backbone for a certain conflict of a character in the movie. It's like 15-20 days of work. My role is that of a DJ. So it's cool. I have tried something new altogether, I am wearing a completely new costume. I wouldn't mind playing a cool guy character or a complete buffoon as well," Fawad said.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is romantic drama that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
However, Fawad will first be seen in Shakun Batra's Kapoor & Sons that comes out in March 18. He says his DJ role is completely different from his Kapoor & Sons character.
"Right now I am experimenting (with) these things. I am loving the stuff I've done in the film, the walk, the talk, the way you carry yourself. It's competent different from what Rahul Kapoor is."
