Anam Abbas studied Cinema at the University of Toronto and Documentary Production at Sheridan College, Canada. Her Documentary short "Lucky Irani Circus" toured film festivals in USA Canada India and Pakistan in 2015. She was the Festival Director for the FACE Film festival in Islamabad for 2016 and is the Associate Festival Director of the I AM Karachi Film Festival 2017, scheduled for November. “Showgirls of Pakistan”, slated for 2018 will be her first feature documentary as Producer and Cinematographer. She is producer and director of the feminist webseries set in Pakistan called "Ladies Only", currently in its first season.
