Paris Hilton dons Indian outfits to promote her perfume in Mumbai, says she loves ‘supporting local designers’
Actor, singer, DJ, and heiress Paris Hilton arrived in India on Wednesday to promote her new perfume Ruby Rush at Parcos, an Indian perfume, makeup and skincare retailer but her outfits and jewellery have become the highlight of her trip.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Hilton shared a Reel of various traditional outfits she wore in India. Along with that came a shoutout for the brand, “Love wearing and supporting local designers when I travel. In love with these gorgeous looks from Indian designer Papa Don’t Preach By Shubhika styled by Marta Del Rio.”
Hilton also asked her followers which outfit of the four options — a blue embellished short dress, red jumpsuit, a lehenga with accentuated sleeves and pastel lehenga — she should wear to the perfume launch the following day.
Shortly after she uploaded the video on Instagram, the House of Wax actor took to her Instagram stories to share that she decided to go with a bright red jumpsuit that featured multi-coloured embellishments and turquoise stones. She was seen wearing the outfit with matching red sunglasses, an emerald and diamond necklace and earrings. To top it off, she wore sheer rhinestones gloves as well.
Hilton also gave a shoutout to a jewellery designer Deepa Gurnani and called her one of her favourite Indian designers before flying out of India the same night. According to Hindustan Times, this was Hilton’s fourth visit to the country.
