Doja Cat calls out Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp for exposing their DMs, calls it ‘borderline snake s**t’

Stranger Things may come out with its next season in a couple of years but that doesn’t mean things won’t stop getting stranger for its cast members. American rapper Doja Cat just called out Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp for exposing their DMs saying it was “borderline snake s**t”.

The ‘Say So’ singer messaged Schnapp, asking him to connect her with his costar and the supernatural thriller’s newest addition, Joseph Quinn. The 17-year-old told her to slide into Quinn’s DMs herself and sent her his Instagram ID.

He then shared a screenshot of their conversation on his TikTok, captioned “thirsty doja”.

The ‘Boss Bi**h’ singer apparently did not like the display of their private conversation on a public platform. She took to her Instagram live to address the issue. “I think that, to be fair, first let’s be chill about it. Noah is a kid — I don’t even know how old he is but there’s no way he’s over 21.”

Cat continued, “But when you’re that young, you make mistakes. You do dumb sh*t. I’m trying to be super fair. You do dumb [stuff], you say dumb [stuff], you [mess] up relationships with people. You make mistakes.”

She admitted that even she’s made some mistakes in the past. “You’re supposed to so that you [don’t] do that in the future. I did my share of f**k ups so that I don’t [do it] again.”

But to her, Schnapp’s actions were totally out of the sphere of acceptable behaviour. “The fact that Noah did that, went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and whack. That’s borderline snake sh*t, that’s like weasel [stuff].”

“And I’m not saying that encapsulates his entire personality — like I don’t imagine Noah that way. Maybe he is, like a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing,” she concluded.

Cat may have declared her sentiments for Quinn very publicly on Twitter on multiple occasions but Will Byers perhaps needs to learn what’s private should remain private unless shared with consent. And perhaps Doja Cat needs to learn not to message children to hook her up with their costars.
