The trailer is out for Usman Mukhtar's horror film Gulabo Rani and it's chilling

The trailer for Gulabo Rani, a horror film by actor-director Usman Mukhtar, is out and it looks like a chilling ride.

It was released by Eastern Terrestrial Studios, Mukhtar's production company that launched with his brother Meiraj in April.

The film's rather chilling tagline is "The main work of haunting is done by the living." From what we can tell from the trailer, the film is about a haunted hostel. There's little dialogue in the trailer. Instead, it's carried by dark visuals and haunting music and sound effects.

The film has been directed by Mukhtar and written by Ali Mudar and Mukhtar's wife Zunaira Inam Khan. The actor first shared the poster on Instagram a few days ago.

Gulabo Rani stars Usama Javaid Haider, Meiraj Haq, Daniyal Khaqan Afzal, Omer Abdullah Khan and Natasha Humera Ejaz and features a special appearance by Khushhal Khan Khattak.

The official release date for Gulabo Rani hasn't been announced, but the trailer revealed that it will come out this July.
