Pepsi's latest ads are taking Pakistani cricketers down memory lane. Here's why

Pepsi recently released two new commercials with the hashtag #NoticeKiya, featuring cricketing celebrity, Babar Azam and our favourite rap duo, Young Stunners.

And just like us, the campaign has sent cricket fans and celebs spiraling down a wave of nostalgia at the hands of the brand's latest collaboration with PCB.

Here's us discussing some of the key moments of the campaign:

Cricketers like Shahid Afridi, Waseem Akram, Shoaib Malik and others have something to say

PepsiCo and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hold a long-standing partnership with each other which goes back to a couple decades to the time we found icons in big cricketing names like Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram.

Remember this commercial from the year 1992?

Upon release, the campaign garnered immense appreciation and applause from some Pakistan's greatest cricket icons who wrote warm notes online remembering the good old days and cheering on Babar Azam for becoming the face of such a partnership and taking the legacy forward.

Here's what's actually going on:

Shahid Afridi is applauding Pepsi and Babar Azam for bringing their 'A-game' to the campaign

Shoaib Malik feels Babar Azam is 'having the time of his life'

Wasim Akram got reminded of the 'good old days' on the field

Imad Wasim applauds Pepsi for 'continuing to bleed green' and Babar Azam for his great performance

We say there can't be a better word for the partnership than 'iconic'

Fawad Alam seems to agree.

Like countless fans of cricket, Hasan Ali is proud to see Pepsi & Pakistan's cricket team 'at it again'

Shadab Khan feels Babar Azam gave a 'smashing performance'

Some fans have found a new favourite in the DVC

Some say Babar Azam is going to rule this decade

We agree!

Some want him to break Sachin Tendulkar's records

This one's reminiscing Pepsi's golden campaigns from the yesteryears
