The secret to Deepak Perwani's great Diwali party? Firecrackers and a lot of star guests

Designer Deepak Perwani celebrated Diwali Thursday night with a party featuring quite a few fashion and entertainment A-Listers, who were all kept thoroughly entertained with many activities that make the Festival of Lights special and fun.

The five-day festival began on November 4 around the world. Perwani seemed pretty excited for Diwali himself. He took to Instagram to post pictures of his various celebration preps, like buying many colourful diyas.

The designer shared the Diwali joy by hosting a party for his friends from the fashion and entertainment circles. Photographer Tapu Javeri and designer Wardha Saleem were at the event and ready to party.

Actor Osama Tahir's presence was documented by actor-comedian Shafaat Ali.

The guest list included Areeba Habib who had her picture taken with the host of the hour.

She also had a bit of fun with the fireworks.

And there were fireworks all around.

Also seen at the party — a swimming pool gorgeously decorated with marigolds.

The small touches here and there made the decor even more special.

Perwani's party was clearly a success as his guests looked like they had a blast.
